After last year's unexplained move to the Octavius Ballroom, the Coca-Cola CinemaCon Final Night Party moved back to its regular location of the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis at Caesars Palace. However, not everything was back to tradition. Instead of having a Vegas headliner serve as the featured entertainment for the festivities, as former Caesars Palace mainstay Matt Goss so impressively and memorably did in 2016, and as Frankie Moreno did so forgettably last year, various circus-style acts performed at various times throughout the pool area. Ranging from fire dancers to an ice sculptor to an acrobat in a bubble on the pool waters themselves, it made for a festive atmosphere throughout the entire event space and helped curb crowding in a concentrated area. Some video highlights of the festivities are below.
(Very special thanks to Heather Lewandoski, Corey Barger, and the entire team at Rogers & Cowan for all their helpful and generous assistance at the convention, as well as Mitch Neuhauser and the CinemaCon crew)
