Inspired by the real life experiences of actor Jason Miller during the shoot of 1973's seminal supernatural horror thriller The Exorcist, the Russell Crowe-starring The Exorcism had a most appropriate special surprise guest show up at a special advance screening tonight, Wednesday, June 19, at the Vista Theater in Hollywood: Regan MacNeil herself, Linda Blair, who joined the film's director/co-writer -- and Jason Miller's son -- Joshua John Miller to deliver some introductory remarks. The entirety of Miller and Blair's introduction can be viewed below.
The Exorcism opens in cinemas nationwide this Friday, June 21, from Vertical Entertainment.

While continuing her battle with the debilitating condition known as Stiff Person Syndrome, tonight, Monday, June 17, legendary singer Céline Dion returned to the stage at Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. Alas, it was not for the big live comeback concert her fans the world over have been clamoring for since she was abruptly forced to interrupt her performing career, but for the world premiere/"special screening" of I Am: Celine Dion, an intimate documentary chronicling her heretofore private medical journey the past number of years. Below are Dion's emotional remarks prior to the screening, preceded by words from film's director/producer, Irene Taylor; and Amazon MGM Studios CEO Jennifer Salke.
I Am: Celine Dion will have a limited release in selected cinemas this Friday, June 21, before streaming worldwide on Prime Video beginning on Tuesday, June 25, from Amazon MGM Studios.
