MTV Movie Awards 2015 Backstage Preview

Film Flam Flummox

The 2015 MTV Movie Awards do not take place until tonight, but last Thursday, April 10, the network and producers provided a sneak peek at all the preparations at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live. The typically extravagant gift package (it can't exactly be called just a "bag" anymore) given to presenters and honorees was previewed, and husband-and-wife artist team Dabs Myla were on hand to show off their lavishly creative design for the stage set. But most impressive of all to me was one Tiana Ramos, the 17-year-old baker/entrepreneur behind the Virginia-based Naughty Girls Donut Shop. Ramos was invited by the network to serve her decadent creations backstage during the festivities, and exactly why comes clear when she tells the story of her shop and the greater-than-donuts movement behind it in my exclusive behind the scenes video below, where Dabs Myla also give insight into their set concept, and we take a look at all the goodies awaiting in the gift bag, assembled by Backstage Creations.

The MTV Movie Awards hosted by Amy Schumer air live on MTV tonight, Sunday, April 12 at 8:00pm Eastern and Pacific.

(Special thanks to Tiana Ramos, Dabs Myla, Backstage Creations, Sunshine Sachs and MTV)
