Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles

The 13th annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) got underway yesterday, Wednesday, April 8, at its usual home of Arclight Cinemas Hollywood with the world premiere screening of director Shlok Sharma 's provocative teacher-student drama Haraamkhor (The Wretched), produced by Anurag Kashyap and starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Below is video of the opening remarks by festival founder/chairman Christina Marouda, festival artistic director Jasmine Jaisinghani, and Haraamkhor director Sharma and producer Guneet Monga; followed by Sharma and Monga's post-film Q&A with star Shweta Tripathi.


The 2015 Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles is currently running through Sunday, April 12.
