PAFF ARTFEST RETURNS
TO BALDWIN HILLS CRENSHAW
February 7-16, 2026
LOS ANGELES — The Pan African Film & Arts Festival (PAFF) will open with its free ArtFest, taking place February 7–16, 2026, at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw in the heart of Los Angeles’ Crenshaw District.
ArtFest launches PAFF’s 34th annual celebration of Black creativity, culture, and storytelling, setting the tone for the festival ahead of the film festival portion, which runs February 16–22, 2026.
Anchored by the 2026 theme PAFF Soul, ArtFest centers the emotional, spiritual, and cultural core of Black artistic expression.
This multi-day experience brings together a vibrant, curated marketplace of visual artists, makers, designers, and artisans from across the African diaspora. From home goods and wearable art to handcrafted jewelry and body care rooted in tradition, ArtFest is where culture meets everyday living. Alongside fashion showcases and interactive cultural programming, ArtFest offers direct access to artists while creating real economic opportunity, cultural exchange, and a space for community to gather, connect, and be seen.
A longtime cornerstone of PAFF, ArtFest transforms Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza into a vibrant cultural hub—welcoming families, longtime supporters, and first-time attendees into an accessible space that reflects the creativity, resilience, and joy of Black communities.
The PAFF Film Festival will follow February 16–22, 2026, showcasing a global slate of films, special events, and industry conversations across Los Angeles.
