“50 CENT ACTION” FAST CHANNEL
Channel to tap into Over 1,800 Hours
of non-stop action content,
featuring Lionsgate’s top action films
and original hit Power series
SANTA MONICA, CA, August 1, 2024 – Lionsgate has partnered with global icon Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his G-Unit Film and Television Inc. production banner to launch 50 Cent Action, a 24-hour action-oriented FAST channel, the studio and Jackson announced today. 50 Cent Action is one of the first talent-branded FAST channels and will target a massive audience of action lovers, powered by premium films and television series drawn from Lionsgate’s more than 20,000-title library of box office hits like The Expendables, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, and Rambo, as well as over a dozen films featuring Jackson himself. 50 Cent Action will also include the hugely successful original television series Power that spawned the Power Universe.
Jackson is a prolific award-winning rapper, actor, television producer, and entrepreneur. He is an executive producer behind the Power Universe (with four hit installments and a highly-anticipated spinoff in the pipeline) and the acclaimed crime drama BMF for Lionsgate Television and STARZ. He has sold more than 30 million record albums worldwide and won a Grammy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, 13 Billboard Music Awards, six World Music Awards, three American Music Awards, and four BET Awards. The Power Universe series have amassed 1.5 billion hours watched globally as of June 2024.
With over 100M followers across digital platforms worldwide, Jackson will work closely with Lionsgate to promote and curate the channel, which will also offer behind-the-scenes footage of the star. His roster of #1 albums lends itself perfectly to the action genre, with themed programming stunts anticipated for the likes of Get Rich or Die Tryin', The Massacre, and Bulletproof.

50 Cent Action adds to Lionsgate’s rapidly growing and diversified portfolio of more than two dozen FAST channels worldwide, including Ebony TV – which is focused on African American audiences – and MovieSphere, the only global premium movie channel offered by a major studio, and the first FAST channel to be rated by Nielsen.
