What initially appeared to be a pretty typical advance screening at AMC The Grove 14 in Los Angeles tonight, Monday, July 1, for MaXXXine, the third and final film of Ti West's sleeper hit period horror trilogy that began with 2022's double-whammy of X and Pearl, became a bit something more when the portrayer of adult film actress Maxine Minx herself, star and executive producer Mia Goth, who surprised fans by showing up in person to introduce the film. Her warm remarks -- and the spirited chant that she led the audience in -- can be viewed below.
MaXXXine opens in cinemas nationwide this Friday, July 5, from A24.
