The long-running ABC Family/Freeform drama series The Fosters may have ended its popular and groundbreaking five-season run this past summer, but the beloved family still lives on in the upcoming spin-off Good Trouble. As two of the young Foster siblings, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Callie (Maia Mitchell), move from San Diego to Los Angeles to begin new careers and lives, no doubt the title will come to play in many forms along the way. Ramirez was joined by co-star Zuri Adele, writer/executive producer/series creator Joanna Johnson, and writer Cristian Martinez for a special discussion about the show and the relevant issues it tackles at a special screening event African-American Film Critics Association this past Saturday, January 5, at the Los Angeles Central Library.
Good Trouble premieres this Tuesday, January 8, on Freeform.
