With the SAG-AFTRA strike having ended on Thursday, November 9, Marvel Studios wasted no time in getting two of its toplined trio of The Marvels, Iman Vellani (Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel) and Brie Larson (Carol Danvers), out on the trail for a two-pronged, bicoastal opening night special appearance salvo. First, in New York City, Larson made an appearance at an opening night showing at the AMC Empire 25 in Times Square, at one point getting co-star Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) on a live Facetime call. Over on the west coast, the film's movie-stealing breakout Vellani, alongside director/co-writer Nia DaCosta and composer Laura Karpman, appeared on stage to greet fans at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.
